A Contradictory Competition!

Voting is over and we have a winner, to be announced tomorrow.

With Autumn well and truly upon us and Christmas looming, here is a lighthearted competition to reignite your competitive streak after a long and leisurely summer.

Contradictory CompetitionWe all love playing with words whether they be funny, profound, even cheeky. Therefore we are looking for you to come up with the best Oxymoron

An oxymoron is a figure of speech a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction, as in “cruel kindness” or “to make haste slowly.”.

You can submit more than one entry, however, we are limiting that to a maximum of 5 per person.

The Grand Prize

The lucky winner will receive a copy of Jumbo Shrimp and Other Almost Perfect Oxymorons by Warren Blumenfield.

Contradictory Competition
Get your thinking caps on and good luck!

Closing date will be Monday 31st October.
We will then post a shortlist of the top 5 entries so you can all vote for your favourite.
