Riding high on the success of last month’s copywriting competition for copywriters around the world, we are pleased to announce the details of this month’s brain teaser: redefining words.

Many of us creative folks use words differently to how most people understand them. We have a word or two we use to describe things where we don’t actually use the word according to its true definition. Maybe we got it from childhood or it was a funny invention of our own children. Changing the definition of words is the sign of a mind that thinks differently. Here’s a competition to flex and channel that creative energy.

For example…

Do you think you can do as well, or even better? Do you have a different way of looking at things? Now is the time to show off. The new definitions can be funny or profound. Topical or poignant. We leave it up to you. Redefine a word thats ripe for the taking.

Grand prize
The talented winner will get the choice of a leather bound notebook or an engraved Lamy pen.
